- My engine ready to be installed. It lasted 20 miles - half ways home from the shop it broke down and I had to tow it. By then Elmar already left for vacation so I was on my own.
- The camshaft got rounded in no time. Here it is next to a new one for comparison
- Brand new hydraulic lifters after only 20 miles

A little bit of history.
- bus came with Porsche 914 heads which I had rebuilt at Streetsboro Foreign Auto
- also with a progressive Weber carb which I quickly learned that it's a setup that Chuck vehemently despises :)

This was our first camp out with the club and it was a hoot. Thanks to Chuck, Mike, Rick and Brandon, the bus was put together by midnight.
