I hope you moved that B ball hoop before this wind started up. Ours took out a windshield on one occasion and did a number on the hood on another,even when it was fully weighted.

I lost the back window in my Astro that way last winter.

I raced home at lunch over the wind/b ball hoop issue. I had no one to help move the hoop, so I decided to just see if it would fit afterall.

No need for Aaron!!

The call on the field is reversed, for yes indeed, it does fit!

Darn it, I was hoping it wouldn't and you would be looking to sell it to me. Just kidding, glad it fits!! I just couldn't imagine having to take it on and off all the time. I've said it a thousand times, I love my 8' doors. Nothing is better then loading the rack up the night before and being able to pull out in the AM.

Some garage door advice though.
1. I would always have a spotter and pull in and out slowly.
2. If a spotter isn't available, I would push the bus in by hand, so you can be the spotter too.
3. Don't increase the travel limits to the opener to pull the door back further than it is designed to. The result will be a thrown cable, possibly a bent up door / track and damaged parts.
4. Make sure the GDO disconnect cord is either off or rapped around the arm (hockey stick looking piece). Nothing would be worse than the opener ripping off the rack tubing.
5. REPLACE THE GENIE FOR A LIFTMASTER.

All good points Marc. On the other garage bay there's no door opener, so I may just move it over there. I've just got to remember not to have anything on the rack when I'm puling in!

I don't know what a lifemaster is, but I'm sure it's good if you're recomending it.
