The seats had been set aside,as they would be about the last part needed to be done and would be sitting around for some time. They were pretty nasty.

especially the rear full width seat.

middle seat was only a little better,at least not bent like the rear.

The fronts were about normal with a couple broken springs, I have a dwindling pile of these
to steal replacement springs from.

all the old upholstery and padding stripped off.

Seat frames and spring units ready to go to the powder coater.

The body shop did not have the seats. They had replaced some passenger floor pieces not knowing that the bus has a 3/4 middle seat. we had to weld in the floor plate.

While the seat frames were off to to the powder coater the steering column,gearshift lever and e brake lever were painted silver white, different from the pear white of the interior.
