well thats the BIG problem. last month it had a good running 1600 duel port in it and now its in a few to many pieces..I found .069 end play on the crank so my brite idea turned into a scramble to hopefully at least get a couple months of driving in.. I should have at least drove it a couple times.. my luck the motor probly would have blew itself apart...
its all good widefive..thats just the hellraisin I need..thats how i've learned the best there is to know in life is listening to assholes.. peace man!
I like it! My current college colors are red and white, sooo that could have something to do with it Driver status then fine tuning the details is probably the best way to tackle any classic vehicle. Especially with split bus seats prices being near what some bay window buses sell for.
Heck, my 70 bus still has a brown middle seat I Krylon plastic painted black because I couldn't find a black one locally.
Now Aaron is going to come after me for committing such a travesty, oh wait it's in a bay I'm safe To make it up to him I'll run my new mural vert decklid on my 67 bug

took the bus down the road today after fresh rebuild.. thank you RIS for the cylinder head work and advise. duel port thank you for coming out to help with the issues I had...I could not have been able to do It with out you guys....
I went to Ed's to take a closer look at his rig yesterday and lend a hand getting it running. We worked out a few minor details in the engine bay but still struggled with a wicked lean miss that could be a vacuum leak or bad carb. He left a message on my phone today that the carb had junk in it and that took care of the problem.
I am amazed at what Ed has done on that with little or no training. He used common materials to make the interior panels and headliner and they look pro. He has no body training and no shop, and did lots of backyard sheetmetal fab on the body with no prefab panels bought. I'm sure he did a better job on the body than I could do alone and he painted the bus at his house. I admire his patience and ability to turn a sow's ear into a silk purse. It looks very good! It will be a welcome sight at LO events.
bus is on the road but only little spirts..Im not sure if I have a charging system that works right together.coil gets super hot it will not stay running it idle after warm up and a few miles of road.runs good at speed get to a light stalls wont start... in need of mental assistance.......ed.....
