Cleaned prepped and primed the rear wheel wells.

Next project is to fix the gear oil leak, brakes and shocks.

Preparing for the new engine to go in so I've been cleaning.... lots and lots of cleaning...

I will post some pictures soon. You won't recognize his rear.

Here's what I have been up to lately...

I had a leak in the passenger side RGB that I needed to be addressed, so I took the brakes apart. All new brakes will be installed.

The original engine has been removed so I can clean and prepare for the new engine install. While I was cleaning I realized there was a lot of dirt under the gas tank. So I took that out. Then while I was cleaning the underside I realized I couldn't quite get to all of the spots under and behind there, so the transmission came out. I will be cleaning that too.

Do you know what diameter heater box outlets you new engine will have? 50mm or 60mm, this will make a difference when trying to install the exchanger to body heat tube. Your body side should be 50mm and depending on the exchanger used it is probably 60mm, you will need to make a reducer to have the heat work. I had some made at a muffler shop for a few bucks, we just found a pipe that the heater tube fit and expanded the other side to fit the exchanger outlet. Even if you don't drive in the real cold weather heat is a good thing to have working if needed.

these will no longer fit for you,unless you do something like toolbox mentioned and get an adapter to mate them to the 1600 heater box outlet.
