Hello.
My name is Josh and I'm in the process of restoring my van.
I purchased it for $400 in 1993 my junior year of high school.
I'm trying to post images but they keep showing up upside down when I upload them. Any suggestions?

Welcome, and congrats on getting the van in to shape.
As for the pictures, if you are using an iphone, they tend to appear upside down at posting. If you plan on posting a lot of photos, check out photobucket.com.
You can create a free account, upload your photos there, and then place the photos in line on your post. They have a copy and paste function on photobucket that makes it real easy.
Of course, you could just post them and leave them upside down, it wouldn't be anything we have t seen before

Welcome! Can you tell us more about your bus? It looks like you've started on a full restoration perhaps?

Pulled the motor on October 25 2014 and took the van to get sandblasted.

Nice work area. Is that your personal space or work?

Work, I own a Radiator Shop in Archbold called Archbold Radiator. You should hear the comments on owning an air cooled van.

That is classic.
Do you have the kids involved with the resto ?
What's your time frame to completion, if you have one?
What's the current condition of the van?

My son has been involved a little. He is nine. My dad who just turned 65 is semi retired and now works for my brother and I. He has over 45 years experience in auto body work along with radiator repair. He did all of the mud work. We plan on driving it to church on Easter.

This is my parts van. My van was an automatic and I'm converting it to a manual.
