For those who don't check the calendar. the dates this year are October 9-11.

I'm really looking forward to this years event. I think it will be LEAKOIL'S 14th year at the 4-H. There were a whole lot more years at the State Park, but that's for Bill and others to relate.

For you sports fans that weekend, Ohio State will be at Maryland on Saturday. Nothwestern will be at Michigan. The Detroit Lions entertain the Cardinals on Sunday and the beloved Cleveland Browns (with hideous new uniforms) will be in Baltimore. And for Hank and Sue, the Squeelers play San Diego on Monday night. Closer to my heart on Saturday, my St Edward Eagles take on the Mainland HS Bucaneers (Daytona Beach) Florida on Saturday and the Ohio U. Bobcats take on arch rival Miami.

If you hate sports, you can always run with the LEAKOIL ladies on Saturday!

Vehicle $32.00 round trip

Adults $15.50 round trip, this is a discounted rate from the $20.50
normal rate
Children $10.50 ages 5 - 11 Children under the age of 5 are free

Trailers $35.00 10 Ft. and under round trip

Trailers $40.00 11-14 Ft. round trip

Rialtas $65.00 round trip

PLEASE NOTE: Even though you will be driving a bus, you MUST tell the
attendant at the booth that you are with the VW group.

Silent auction:

We have some great donations coming from even more vendors this year.

It's about that time that you go through your stash of cool stuff and find an item to donate to the auction. Need not be bus related but perhaps camping related,or just something you would like to donate.

The auction and t-shirt sales are the only way that this group raises money to pay for this site and the things that we give back to you in your goody bags and the constant flow of hot dogs and beverage. 100% of your camping fee goes back to 4H.

UPDATE
Just a few friendly reminders. We are currently taking orders for Kelleys Island 2015 shirts and sweatshirts. The deadline to order is this Friday, September 18. In order to be able to have shirts printed and delivered before the event we must adhere to this deadline. Please have your orders placed before then. Shirt sales will be preorder only, and will not be available for purchase at the event.

Kombis on Kelleys will be over Columbus Day Weekend, at the 4H. Gates will open at 12:00pm on Friday October 9, and the weekend will conclude on Sunday at 2pm. The registration states gates open at 2, this is no longer the case. You may arrive as early as noon on Friday, but not before.

Saturday night on Kelleys Island is the Potluck dinner at the front pavilion, as well as bus to bus trick or treating for the kids after dark. If you bring a crock pot and/or utensils to serve from at the potluck, you can drop them off at the window and they will be cleaned. Please remember to remove your crock pot and utensils that evening, as they need the space in the kitchen to prepare breakfast on Sunday morning. Also if you have a 3 tap or 6 strip outlet you can bring, that would help out with electric needs.

If you wish to hand out candy or treats for the kids on Saturday, please remember to bring those items with you. Parents, if your kids wish to participate please remember to pack a costume and a candy bucket.

Question: Is there electric hookup for the sites or no? We are first timers to this event and trying to plan the power situation. Are portable (very quiet) generators permitted? Thanks so much!
