Post by Vandiesel »

I noticed on the camp map , there is designation for camp fire area.
are open fires allowed on individual camp sites? do we need to supply our own wood?

There are no ground fires allowed. You are allowed individual fires, but they must be in a fire pit (chiminea). There is limited wood so you may want to bring your own. No fire rings are supplied so you will have to bring your own.

Sarcasm is just one of the many services I offer.

I like my water filtered through a bed of grains, cleansed by yeast, and preserved with hops.

I may add that there is a large fire ring at the beach for use as a group fire.

I guess I should clear this up a bit. A fire ring would be considered a "ground fire" 4H's concern is destroying the grass in the areas where we camp.
