You would think if someone went to the trouble of putting a Franklin’s Werks beam on and a rebuilt steering box they would replace the coupler. Wrong. Probably thought they would put new cotter pins in and not leave the old ones cut off in the bolts with nothing to hold the castellated nuts on too...

I think this may have been original. It was brittle for sure.

Bruce can tell you a near horror story of a guy with a coupler issue. Scary!

Nice work on that turn signal relay. I'll bet the resistance is way down! :lol:
