Detour FYI, most of you know this- the map on their website is wrong, it shows the bridge is open to light traffic but the bridge is closed. It is last year's map showing the bride will be closed fully in September (2022!).

Yesterday was a big day, we fired it on propane on the engine stand. It sounds great, has good oil pressure and no unusual noises. Ran it 20+ minutes at 2000+ to break in the cam, it was a good day!

Anyway, we polished the crank and new cam journals, new hydraulic lifters, soda blasted the pistons and ball honed the jugs, new cast rings, took the best parts from 2 or 3 engines, new AMC heads, and put it together. Lee's son Luke also got in on the process.
