Re: CKWA/KWHA Part II
Ok, I probably needed to understand the 'brake reality'. I was torn between 'stock' and the 'upgrade', and for brakes, I chose 'upgrade'. Many thanks to Bill Webner for some rare brake parts and to Dale who provided, not only a lot of other rare parts and needed items, but the environment to make it...

Re: Beach Buggy Project
Nice job Ken. Miester Road is obviously the place to be! Can't wait to see it.
I love that it's a 'walk through' and, I guess for the time being, a 'step through'!

Re: CaptKirk........1960 Double Cab
Way to go Kirk. Looks like the CKWA is alive and well :D :D :D Yea, and someday its going to stop on Miester Road! Kirk, 'the Gerson' looks great. In the end, you'll have plenty of 'smoothin' on that nose like I did, but its nothing you can't handle. I can't wait to see it up close. It looks ...

Re: Yellowstone Trip
I admire those who take old buses out on these long trips covering the American landscape. The photos are great. I hope I live long enough, (and get brave enough), to take my bus to some far away place... like Columbus!

Re: East Side Gathering
Since no one else has commented, I thought I'd weigh in on this. I went to the intial gathering. Dave and Denise have staked out a nice location for an alternative east side/south side get together. I realize it's a long way for anyone west of Lorain, (maybe even for the Lorain-Elyria crowd), but fo...

Excellent! That's 'California Quality'. The bus looks great! You should be very pleased with how it turned out. I hope to see it at all the fall events!

Re: Buckeye German Show 2009
Several people asked way LEAKOILER"S never come to the show anymore. I went to that event a lot in the mid to late 90's. I enjoyed it back then. When GASS, (German Air Sucker Society), was around that was a real lively 'can't miss' event. I'm still glad they have it and I should get back into ...

Re: Hans and Olaf
Hey Nick, it was good to talk to you at Bill's. Since you have the engine out, I'd post some pics. I've found a lot of experienced guys on the site can point stuff out they see at a glance that you can handle while the engine is out. I've also heard the aftermarket bus engine lid hinges are crap, bu...
