I'm just going to get this thing together and bring it someplace where Ted and Aaron can drive it and figure out all the 'voulmertricly' and 'iterations' issues.
I just want to be able to stop.

Run the p*ss out of it and give it a shakedown. I think that's Aaron's job. Who else is rolling with us? 8-) Oh, I'm sure Aaron is going. After all, He'll need us to provide a "bussing" service to get him over that wooden bridge that requires all of about 3" of clearance!

Re: Smittie's Campout
I'm glad to hear it was a great success. I tried to work on the bus that morning, but that rain storm was brutal. In the late afternoon, I gassed up the bug just to run out and say hello, but when I got off I-480 & 10 at Rt. 83 the bridge going south was out. I had to be at a graduation ...

Sean- I'm taking that Friday off work to go early. Want to carabus? Anyone else in mine & Sean's vicinity on Cleveland's west side wanna join in? I spoke to several folks at Smittie's campout this weekend who live further south who are going, so we should be able to have a nice representation o...

Hey Don, that looks great. I'm certainly going to the campout and show, so I will save you a space for Saturday night.
I'm going to try to stay close to Regis and Ken so I don't starve!
BTW, where is the VW club gathering? Columbus?

Let's see some more photos!
I've still got some of your sheet metal. From the one pic, it looks like you'll need it for the nose. I can bring it to the third thursday if you need it.

I'm running a Bay M/C in the Single. Running Super Beetle front WC on the rear w/ early Type I brakes, though. I think I need to bleed mine more. Will be nice to compare with your pedal feel. That makes your the original "crash test dummy"! I've got many extra wheel cylinders and re...

Re: CKWA/KWHA Part II
Made it out to Bill's today just before he was closing up. Nick (from Wakeman) was there. (He's the young guy at Eastern Michigan with the green and white early bay bus.) We got to talk about everything from windmills to various brake parts. Bill hooked me up with the rear brake shoes and the rear w...
