that snapring came out with the shaft, I believe that started the problem. the stud looks to be on the other shaft still.i am going to remove the t/o bearind and seal and try to get it back together without a teardown. There is a snap ring that breaks allowing the reverse gear to slide and the stud breaks or un threads and the shat seperates. Need to at least tear 1 reduction box apart and pull a side cover to fix.

A pin punch and a hammer, probably only need one stake on the right side. Add fuel proof epoxy and off you go.

Time to restake it and add some fuel proof epoxy to seal it up and keep it in place.
I have used dimes and Permetex gasket sealer to get up and running when the plug goes MIA on the road.

WW indicates they offer Bosch, but I'm not sure what that really means anymore. For the 40HP, they indicate Bosch or Wegu, but I have no idea what the Wegu brand is.
