Re: East Enders - Where are you?

Elyria is a haul from Canton, not that I mind stretching the Westy's legs a bit. Winking Lizard in Streetsboro would be great, but it's a bit busy and pricey compared to Basil's. Sean, let me know when you want to try Carolina BBQ - it's about 10 minutes from my house! There was talk at one time abo...

Re: Tune Up Day 2009

Trip Advice needed: google estimates 2 hours, i'm estimating close to 3 with the bus. This will be my first 'long' trip driving in the bus (any bus) and was wondering if you have any words of wisdom when driving up I71? 1. Keep right. 2. Re: Tune Up Day 2009

Ummmmm.... did you read the description of that video? It took those guys 16 hours to get that engine out and undressed. I think the LEAKOIL group could do it in 16 minutes! 8-) Well, OK, maybe 20 if the tent had to be put up first.

Of course she is! It's her kitchen! 8-)

Can't wait to see that Bus, Sean. You are an inspiration - I'll wrench on anything, but bodywork??? Run away! Run away!!!

Re: CKWA/KWHA Part II

And who can forget (or remember?) ....

"Lanigan in the morning....
.... On WGAR!!!"

KDKA out of Pittsburgh comes to mind as well... only one of 4 stations east of the Mississippi to have "K" as the first letter of the call sign. 50,000 watts of clear-channel power!!!!

Re: CKWA/KWHA Part II

If they're finished, they're not any fun! If I could just get my wife to understand that concept... :)

Looking good, Sean! Can't wait to get a ride in it!

Re: Maumee Bay State Park

Maybe the road could be soaked in vegetable oil so even a stock Beetle or Bus could do it! (That car has IRS, Ken.... not sure how well a swing-axle would do!)

Re: Official tuneup day countdown....2009

Does Bill have an exhaust analyzer at his shop? I'm gathering the pieces to put a catastrophic converter back on my Bus, but I don't want to burn it up with an overly rich mixture.
