That is really cool building, amazing you met the architect! Keep us posted on the dream cruise. We have gone nearly every year for the last 7 or 8 years. Had to miss last year.

My bus was missing the relay and the wiring to the alternator when I got it. A few years ago I bought a wiring k...

Re: 76 Westfalia Sweet Pickle

Re: 76 Westfalia Sweet Pickle
Put the main cabinet back in and replaced the main gas line while I had it out. Was able to get it at Home Depot. The original had 3/8 connectors as was 48” long. Most everyone else only had the 1/2 connectors. Resealed with the yellow Teflon tape and checked for leaks. No bubbles! Also cleaned and ...

Re: 76 Westfalia Sweet Pickle
The rest of the wood looked so good I could not leave the sliding door panel alone. There was some kind of oil or ? In the wood that reacted funny with the varnish. It turned white and curled for lack of a better word. Only in the one spot. Sanded it out somewhat, not perfect but an improvement over...

Re: 76 Westfalia Sweet Pickle
Ha, you remember that! Yes, same bus thanks for helping push it a couple times that weekend! It was time to freshen it up. Most on the interior was original and we have used it a lot over the last 6 years. Did some mechanical stuff first though.
