Re: Tune Up Day 2009
For us newer folks, what does the day consist of and what kind of work is usually performed It resembles an anthill with honey poured on it, and elbows and wrenches and people borrowing Bill's tools to work on their buses. Re: Strohma Split Bus Project
Oh my word  You're lowering that Bus? You know you won't be able to drive it anywhere  Yes. If the bus is too low, it will never be able to drive up on the ramp for the ferry to Kelleys Island without scraping bottom and getting stuck. But you can always grab your backpack and ri...

Re: FramingSilly "There's a first time for everyone"
Don't forget, we have Spring in between winter and summer. And since you live just down the road in Brunswick and I'm in N. Royalton, we can go do some shakedown cruises in our yellow buses, and get the bugs and winter dust out.framingsilly wrote:That about sums it up Howie! Can't wait for summer now.

Re: Official tuneup day countdown....2009
I believe Bill does (or did) have an exhaust analyzer at the shop and we tried it on my bus last Tuneup Day, but it wasn't working right. Hopefully it is in workable condition now. It was like a mini-version of the one I used when I worked at E-Check, except smaller, and you could carry it around.

Re: Ken.....When I restored the '63 Single Cab
Wonderful documentation of the process!!! It looked better coming out of the barn in 1981 than most anything similar that's for sale nowadays. Nice work, Ken!
