Well if you don't already know I'm gonna tell ya.
I'm the new owner of the 1970 panel bus that has been sitting outside of Der Wagonwerks for some 10+ years.
I'd like to thank Bill for giving me the chance to put this VW back on the road again. I know it was hard for him to let it go and hope he'll be able to take it for a spin again soon. THANKS BILL!

Re: 1970 Panel
Glad to hear that it shall be on the road again. I gotta find a 69 panel bus so that I can join the "Lake Erie Panel Pimps."

Re: 1970 Panel
I could suggest savoring the patina; seal coat the rust in and get a personal plate-"GHOST"!
Re: 1970 Panel
!! YES !!
I love this Bus. Love the patina (although it may be beyond the patina category) Cant wait to see it on the road.

Work an Apollo logo into the mix with that awesome patina. Then park it out at Plumbrook and see how long it takes for them to tow it!

I think your right Brett, more rust than patina, but it will roll this way for awhile.......well without those rear tires anywayCrapatron wrote:(although it may be beyond the patina category)
