The edited version of the story goes like this:
Back in August at the Pataskala VW show, a guy named Tom approached me about my DC. We talked about my truck and then about the truck he had at home which has been off the road some 30+ years. Tom has owned this DC for many years and has taken his family across the country twice and Canada once. I offered to help him get it looking decent again and back on the road. I hope to start work on it soon and that any help that fellow LEAKOIL members may have in the parts department would be greatly appreciated by Tom and his family (we are willing to pay for them ).
She needs lots of attention....and welding!!

Re: Project '59 Double Cab
Looks like a lot of work but those early split DC's are definitly worth the effort.

Re: Project '59 Double Cab
I know you can do it. What is the long range plan?
If you happen to run across a bay singlecab that is in reasonable shape, let me know.
