Phil.... That's the nicest camper that I have ever seen! When the March paper Issue hits the stands I'm definitely picking it up!
I'm sure the article will explain how you bought that out from under this LEAKOIL bunch and all the other enthusiasts on this side of the pond!

Well guys ive gone and done the unthinkable and sold Oscar the Westy to a lovely German guy so he is returning home to the fatherland
so ive now gone and bought this !! 1969 Westfalia Type 2a i hope you like its a Cali bus & has never been welded painted or filled and doesn't need to be it even has its original grey seam sealent visable ,im making a few sublte changes ie new rear seat covers & westy curtains but apart from that this is one bus thats going to be properly used rather then me worrying about scratches etc etc

Thought id give you guys a little update from across the pond , I hope everyone is keeping well
I had to have some repair work done on the bay the usual place of course rotten bottom windscreen its come out quite well altho a little bit shinier then the rest of the bus but has been painted in celly so should fade fairly quickly also im think about haveing the bus clearcoated to protect the patina from the good old british weather ! Had a few other jobs done here and there but nothing major front seat retrimmed as well as the rear seats , curtains etc
