It's now in storage in Ohio for the winter. My mom drove it around some before the snow came and enjoys it, we'll see. Maybe it'll pop back up for sale, maybe not. The radio is now a piece of cardboard, since I took it out for other purposes.

Their trip dragging it home from Nebraska was uneventful minus the magnet for the tow light not working very well and falling off somewhere in Iowa. So they made the rest of the trip to Ohio with a single tow light wired up to the rear air vent. No issues from or with the tow bar either, so that's a plus.

Bye bye EMPI AM/FM radio. It's going to a new home in Puerto Rico to finish an EMPI GTV restoration. Time to find a block off plate or the right Sapphire radio I suppose. After the $ goes to fix the 68 westy anyway. Now I don't have to sell this bug!
