Replaced it with a fresh sheet of 18 gauge steel. Thats my new ride height too. It'll actually be a little lower. Originally i was going to run some euro style 18" wheels, but some things had been brought to my attention and i decided to step down to 16" wheels in order to get alittle lower. Actually im hoping to be sitting on the ground when im parked.

I cut a section of my frame out and fab'd these "C" notches out of channel iron. This will allow my trailing arms and cv's to travel much further up.

Then i cut the ends of my rear torsion's off and narrowed them 1.5" on both sides.

I like my water filtered through a bed of grains, cleansed by yeast, and preserved with hops.

Raby's air cooled technology. They make these upright shrouds to convert a type 4. That way they can be ran in a early bay, split and beetle. The type 4 has a much larger displacement. We all know how much work goes into making a 1600 a 2 liter and it just makes sense to just convert it over. Mine will be turbo'd tho. I have a .48ar garrett and im doing a draw thru set up from a holley carb. The power valve on the carb will be plugged and then re-tapped from the side. It'll be boost referenced. Ignition will be the msd billet dist with street fire and a 6btm box for boost retard. Holley blue pump for fuel and a boost referenced fpr. A handful of other goodies too. Alot of cylinder head work comes first and balancing. Arp head studs and rod bolts etc.
