I'd like to try some of that. Have you used it? Where can I get it?

Danny

How long has it been on your truck? Still no sign of additional rust?

Now, to get back on topic. :D . I finally finished installing the Art Brow gas tank. There were some minor mounting a plumbing issues but I got them resolved. Put 5 gallons of gas in yesterday and guess what - No Leaks from the tank (as I would expect from something that came from Art Bow) and no leaks from my plumbing (surprise  ).

Anyway, now I can finally get rid of the 1gal. Plastic Lawn-Boy mower tank. My driving range between fill-ups should increase from 20 miles to 300 miles. :D She's ready to cruise. Next step is to get the heater working and resolve some minor electrical issues.

None of the warning lights were working except the oil pressure. I was able to scrounge up enough spare sockets and bulbs to get all of them working. The wiring was a mess, it took the better part of the afternoon to get it straightened out.

I thought the right front headlight was burned out but it turned out to only be a badly corroded ground wire. Thanks for the tip Dual Port. :D

Next job is to get the fuel gage working.

Time to put this old boy to work (and the truck too!) cutting down trees and clearing brush. Forgot how much hard work this is.

Even after all the years I've worked with single cabs, I'm still amazed how handy it is to be able to load and unload from 3 sides. It makes so much sense. It's no wonder the are still made this way in Europe by VW, Mercedes, Ford and others. I wish they would start making them like this in the U.S. Maybe someday. :D
