+1, great bus, great find. Hope you keep it forever and not flip it!
I agree, what you have is a score of a life time in this day in age..don't push your luck hold on to it forever...

Scoop-less. I'm sorry, I had to take those things off.

Good. Now get rid of the bowling alley carpet on the interior.

Finally got around to installing a set of Wolfgang Safari Windows for my Bus. A huge thank you goes out to Chuck for seeing this project through and leaving no detail untouched.
And yes, I understand they will leak, that's for me to worry about, not you.
Seals cut, original glass safely removed.
The bottom of the window channel had a fair amount of rust but was pretty solid otherwise. The rust was scraped and sanded away prior to paint.
After the brackets were welded in, Chuck hit it with some primer.
Goodyear Blimp was floating about the majority of the afternoon for the St.Eds football game that was at Lakewood Stadium and was apparently broadcast on ESPN.
It even passed directly overhead at one point!
While we waited for the primer to dry we pulled the Bus back inside and stopped off for lunch at The Beer Engine.
Once back from lunch we broke out the Beige Gray and went to town.
Tomorrow morning: final assembly.
