Nice! So give us some details. Did you go with the single circuit MC? double? What did you replace on the wheels? Just wheel cylinders? What did those shoes look like? I just re-lived all my "brake drama" through your post!

What's mounted under the dash above the parcel tray by the radio? An amp? Will we hear you coming?

Is that a fuel gauge on the left of the dash? I've got one of those crazy vacuum units, (still not hooked up), on my '59. I think some folks put an oil temp or oil pressure gauge over there. What do you have?

BTW, glad to see that "pancake" didn't end up in that engine compartment!

Brakes are fun...I wanted to replace more than was needed and trust nothing old

so its new rubber lines all my hardlines I inspected and they were in great shape. First bus Ive done brakes on and not had to replace all of them

New shoes, new german wheel cylinder up front

New single circuit master. Never had a problem with single circuit stuff

New rear shoes and cylinders new rubber lines out back as well.

Yes its a fuel guage Still need to rewire it.

Its the stock radio in the dash... there is a little red tray next to it though. The radio works great :D

It could be and amp or the power supply.

Looks great Brad. Nice original patina :D . I like those "west coast" after market accessory mirrors. They look very similar to Sean's

1964 Bowman & Sons Camper (Vegas Bus)
1966 Westy S0-42 Hardtop
1967 Westy SO-42 Pop Top

Yes, those mirrors are like the ones on my '59. People have told me they are dealer aftermarket (V.O.A.) Here's one of several threads on them:
