Will Lurch/Young Dan be doing a Glass Replacement Clinic this year? I would like to reserve an appointment to replace my windshield and rear hatch window gaskets if possible.

Hold on there Howie... not the kind of work that anyone would want to take on at Tune Up Day, Bay windshields & their seals are a giant pain in the butt under the best conditions, many experienced glass installers will go thru multiple windshields trying to install just one (they break) and removing an old one and reinstalling it is almost certain death for that curved piece of glass, and who knows what kind of rust you're going to find once you pull the windshield (rusty parts can be a bitch, especially push rod tubes) , probably a task best left for a glass shop, pay them once and let them buy as many windshield as it takes, Sometimes free work ends up costing more than just paying for it...

We are about 5 weeks away from tune up day. If you have a project that you would like some help with, please post here or PM me. As normal we will help out with normal tune ups,points,plugs,cap rotor,and timing. We can also do compression check and leak down testing for those curious about the condition of their engine.Also,we are going to expand a bit this year and include a mini swap meet. If you have items to trade or sell,bring them along. Also,spouses are more than welcome to join us. We will also supply food and beverage.
