Sorry we've been out of the loop lately...but we will see you all this weekend. Not sure what day but we plan to come out and joy in the festivities!

I'm hoping Jennifer and I make it in tonight. The bus is getting some work done down the street. Shop said it should be done by today. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Hope to see everyone soon.

Many thanks to Rich Croft. We cannot say enough about the hospitality OKTOBERFEST shows LEAKOIL year in and year out. And thanks to OKTOBERFEST founder Bob Hass, who along with Rich, 12 years ago, took a chance on a VW bus club called LEAKOIL when they started this version of OKTOBERFEST in Berea. Its been a great run. I talked to Bob on Saturday night and he was so pleased we turned out.

Thankfully, (for you), I won't post pics. Those, will hopefully, come from others later.

Oktoberfest is really a great event for our LEAKOIL community. Its the ultimate "FREE" event. We get in for free, have camping for free, and as long as were discreat, bring in our own food and beverages for free. Where else do you experience that????

The great thing is Sunday night. We're the evening entertainment in the Educational Building. This year was great because so many turned out and it was a diverse mix of buses. We obviously attracted attention because the "Polka Time and Ohio and More" TV show from DMK Productions came and interviewed Bill for a feature on their cable access show. They're on Spectrum Channel 196 and Cox 45 and on You Tube if you don't have those connections.

Anyway, many thanks to everyone who came out to OKTOBERFEST. Its a great event and we're (and you) are part of what make it great!

LEAKOIL is only great because of the indvidual members who show up and participate in events! Thanks to those who showed!

And one more thing. Big shout out to WSD, who's bus was still there Monday, thanks to him loaning it out to a friend. And another shout out to the couple with the silver Ghia who are with us every year, but I can't remember their names. They are awesome too!

Thanks to all for a fantastic weekend this is how we end things with a BANG!
