The Put-In-Bay (South Bass Island) VW Campout will be on the 2nd weekend of November at the State Park Campground. Nov 9/10/11. All are welcomed.
There is an unstaffed registration office where campers need to fill out a form, drop in your money, and get a tag to place on the small pole by your campsite. Park Manager will check for these. Please cooperate fully as the manager has been good to us - letting us take as much wood as we want from their pile in the maintenance area - though there was none last year. .
There are powered sites available as well as lower priced no-power sites.

Park Manager is sorry to say that, as usual, the restrooms will be closed - no running water. But we can use the outhouse in the maintenance area.
We camp rain or shine, cold or pleasant.
The campground is on the site of the old Victory Hotel, and some remnants of that famous long-gone hotel are still there. And the fall leaves are at their peak on the island at this time.
Please bring some firewood.
Arrive Fri or Sat.

I'm hoping to go! Should I call and make a reservation or do you just show up?

Buy a 55 Gallon Drum of Rain X
This was coming home from Middle Bass Island a few weekends ago on the Miller Ferry. I don't mean to scare anyone away, but November winds could happen...
