I’ve been meaning to stop at this ‘cruise in’ when I’m in town and it’s been rained out a lot in recent weeks. It’s right on Pearl Road near Bagley and while It’s a big muscle car love fest, they’re very welcoming to foreign or stock vehicles. The organizers are really nice and the food is simple, good and cheap.

I rolled out and was happy to see Rob with his ‘66 California camper. I texted Bruce earlier and he showed as well. Three split buses in a sea of muscle cars! And of course we got most of the attention! Oh yea, John showed up too, but he came in a Jaguar. No points for that!

One car that stood out was a little Nissan right hand drive from Japan. Very cool. Also a very pristine stock ‘49 Ford Truck that’s for sale that I so want to buy! If only!

That's a cool site. Those little right hand drive Japanese vehicles are very interesting. I remember the old Datsons that were imported here in the early '70's. They had a minature family vehicle we laughed at until the gas crisis of '73-'74 woke us up.

I'm still drooling over that '49 Ford. Stock straight 6 cylinder. My Dad bought Ford's when he came to the US. I always had a soft spot for any early Ford.

I have been to this one in previous years. It does get rained out a lot. When it’s nice out it can turn out to be a pretty big show.
