Ok, Dave C. asked, so here are some events for possible inclusion in the new calandar. I'm posting them here because we have a lot of unscheduled events that we need details on and I want people to see them. Those with knowledge of these events, especially those not formally scheduled, can weigh in and let Kirk know what's happening. If possible, please post a link to a web site or web link map to make it easy on everyone. The events in the dated listing are confirmed. The list that follows contains past events and proposed events that need to be confirmed if they are going to happen. No hurry, but it would be nice to know where everyone will be in 2009!

This is just a tentative list, so if anything is missing, please 'post it up'

Does anyone have any info on whether there will be a VW show in Yipsilanti, Michigan this year? The one at Old Town Depot?

I see the MVVC has an event in Plymouth on the 17th of May. Is that replacing Yipsilanti?

Just trying to get the evnts in order.

UPDATE: Many thanks to Ted (Toolbox). Yipsillanti show is now in Plymouth Michigan. See listing for May 17th above. Ted will try to keep us posted if he makes it to a MVVC meeting.

At least I know you're reading the list! Actually, my attempt at humor was just to try to 'prod' someone into giving me an event date!

I know it'll be early November, but we probably won't know the specifics till Kelleys. That's OK.

What about your farm Howie for Jim's custom VW?

My Farm campout after Jim's gig is Iffy at this point. My cousin who caretakes the place for me is getting married (second time around) and may not have the time to spiff the place up for us like he used to. (Not like any all that many ever came to my farm in the past.) But it is still a possibility. We can all just drive our buses over the weeds and mash it down to make a campsite. The view from the hillside is worth the hassle alone.

If push comes to shove I can pay a neighbor to brushog the place for us. And I know that the outdoors pooper that we built is still in working order. Let me work on this, and get back to yuns about it. We have a lot of time before that date rolls around. Let me see what I can do between now and then. Consider this campout for the moment as an "Option".
