We appreciate the effort, but, for this year we have decided to forgo the auction in order to minimize contact. Thank you so much for the thought.

Just a few notes. There are no assigned campsites. Pick a spot and set up your camp.
Also:
There are no fire pits. 4H prohibits ground fires. You may bring raised fire pits. 4H in the past has been able to supply firewood, but you may want to bring some. As far as staying warm, electric heaters are not allowed due to very limited electricity, and the fact that a few campers
require electric for medical reasons. Electric heaters will trip the circuit breakers which are not readily accessible. We recommend "Heater Buddy" propane heaters if you think you may need heat. They are tent and van safe. There is a large fire ring on the beach for everyone's use. 4H does ask, that if you are using a raise fire pit, please do not dump your ashes and dead coals on the ground. 4H staff will provide large cans or make rounds on Sunday morning for you to dispose of the ashes and coals. You may dump your ashes in the large fire pit on the beach.
There is an ice machine and walk in cooler in the dinning hall for our use.
Keep watching for more info.

We are just over a week away from KOK 2020!

We have been working with 4H to determine some guidelines for this year. It has been a balance of keeping things the same, yet being considerate of all who will be in attendance.

Here are a couple more items to note for this year's event.

Check in will be up at the front, same as the last few years. When you arrive, please pull your bus up in line to check in. You do not need to get out of your bus. We will have volunteers come to you to get your information and hand you a couple of goodies. :D

Breakfast will be done a little differently this year. If you would like to participate in the breakfast provided by 4H, then you will have to pick a time slot to eat. We will have 3 time slots, 8 AM, 9Am and 10AM for serving breakfast. We will ask that you give us your chosen time slot at check-in so that we can track and limit the number of people in the mess hall during the breakfast hours. We will have the seating spread out in the mess hall to keep parties separated. If you would prefer to take your food back to your bus to eat, 4H will have boxes for carry out available. Just let them know before serving you your food.

Within the mess hall, we will have the front doors designated as entrance and exits only. This is to control the flow of people in and out of the mess hall. Masks are required within the mess hall and the restrooms at all times, unless you are seated to eat. Please be considerate of everyone, maintain social distancing and keep these areas clean.

We appreciate everyone who has chosen to join us at this event. Although there are some minor changes this year, we think it will be just as enjoyable as ever.

Stay tuned for more updates. Any questions, post them up or let us know in a PM.

Will there be trick-or-treating again this year? Or any of the other activities for kids? Thanks!

We will not have trick or treating this year.

However, we will do plan to have the lighting of the lanterns again on Saturday evening, weather permitting. We will also plan to have kids activities Saturday afternoon, similar to pervious years. Be sure to look at the white board in the mess hall to get the info.
