My Kelleys 1970 VW Camper (Booga Bus) windshield wipers stopped working. I am willing to pay someone to work on them while the group is up if anyone is interested.

Looking forward to seeing all the buses coming over!

we are about a month away. It's also time for members to dig through their stash and find items that they would like to donate to the silent auction or raffle.

Also, I have been asked by 4H to request that campers DO NOT have ground fires at their campsites. If you wish to have a camp fire at your site, please bring an above ground fire pit,or better yet, join everyone at the campfire on the beach.

Some important updates.

Electricity: Those who have attended in the past know that there is limited
electricity available. I have been informed by 4H that there is
one working outlet at the basketball court area. There is some
electric available at mid field and at the shelter at the beach
end of the field on the right side facing the beach. We have
member attendees who require electric for medical reasons.
They will be given priority.
Also, the electric service that is available WILL NOT support
electric heaters. If you feel that you will need heat,we suggest
that you bring a small propane heater available at places such
WALMART,which are tent safe. Or just cuddle.
Do not count on having electric.

Pot Luck Dinner

Saturday evening is our pot luck dinner. We have found that
crockpots work well for this. There are plenty of outlets in the
dinning hall to facilitate these, although you may want to bring
an extension cord and/or a mult strip. We do have access to
a fully equipped commercial kitchen during the day Sat.
if you need to prepare your food.
We are responsible for clean up after the pot luck dinner.
Volunteers are welcome. Also, we would appreciate if after the
dinner, you retrieve your crock pot or other container. We can
run them through the dishwasher if you wish.

Mopeds scooters and golf carts

Please use common sense. Not doing so may result in
Mopeds and scooters not being allowed in the future.

Pets

Please be a responsible pet owner. If you don't know what that
is, Please leave your pet at home.

Please read the previous post about ground fires.

See you on the Island :)

Check your PM. There should be a form or 2 you need to fill out and return, or bring with you to KI.

There are no official campsites per se, but yes, first come first serve.

If you did not receive a form, PM Bill, or post here and I'm sure he can get you one.

Sarcasm is just one of the many services I offer.

I like my water filtered through a bed of grains, cleansed by yeast, and preserved with hops.

Hoping to start a conversation about the annual meet up that normally happens on the west side. (Before rolling up to KOK) Time? Place?

We normally meet up at Giant Eagle..... Matt Keith offered his house if convenient.....and discuss.

Just to let everybody know we have trick or treat from bus to bus on Saturday after the potluck for the kids so make sure you have candy for the kids. I plan on decorating cookies again with the kids this year around 3 at the mess hall on Saturday. I hope everyone joins in the fun.

See you all Saturday morning
