They used sand but the guy was skilled, no warpage. As for condition, If you zoom in the side pictures you will find a bunch of riveted repairs. But overall plenty of solid metal left. As for deadline I need it running, in my driveway, by Aug 2nd at 9am, for Colin (air-cooled itinerant) to tune. Hi Chuck! :)

It's nice to have a clean slate. Did you already epoxy prime it? That body will flash rust real quick.

Yes Josh, here's pics with it epoxied, and some of the PO's ghetto repairs, previously covered in tons of bondo. In the last picture, notice how Chuck's yellow tape survived sandblasting! I didn't have the heart to destroy his work :P

You know the rear view mirror is only held in by a spring wire, and it comes right out if you twist it about 90 degrees to either side...

Thanks Chuck, could not figure it out. Got a yuuuge 360mm convex Broadway mirror to clip over it tho' so I can see all the way to the B pillars.
