Hey Guys:
On the official website it shows all sponsored public events have been cancelled. I've been going to this almost 20 years and feel 95% of the events are car guys cruising and attending so most of what I want to see is not a "sponsored" event. I'm keeping my hotel reservations and might just go anyway. Being that it is outdoors and easily social distanced I don't see a huge Covid risk here.
Any comments? Looking for input from Toolbox and anyone else in the MC for insider information.

I think if you stay north of 14 Mile you should not be hasseled. County Sherrif and State PD might be an issue the whole length of the strip h ticket book in hand for the rice and muscle guys.
I will probably be at the Mi VW group at the northern end and come in off a side road.

If it's a bust we can load up my Caravan and drive around to all the old factory sites.
My wife and I did that once with a guy we met at the local cars and coffee that was in town from Chicago. We showed him all kinds of places while he talked about architecture, he and his father were architects. Turns out his dad was a pretty well know architect with a few iconic projects. You might have seen a car drive off one of them in a Steve McQueen movie.
It was an awesome tour.

That is really cool building, amazing you met the architect! Keep us posted on the dream cruise. We have gone nearly every year for the last 7 or 8 years. Had to miss last year.
