Weather permitting, and it looks be be great,72 degrees.Registration and check in will be moved to below the main building at the top of the camping field.
If you have things that need to put in the walk in cooler,Stop up top when you arrive and do so.
If you are bringing a crock pot for the pot luck, you may want to bring and extension cord and possibly a mult strip. (we will have a few)
If you will need to use the kitchen for your pot luck meal on Sat. nite, let us know at Sat. morn breakfast.(oven, stove, microwave etc.)
golf cart rental:
There are a number of places to rent carts on the island you may check at the feery dock,or down town. There is a place around the marina(go to the right as you exit the ferry parking lot) Called Sunrise Point 419 746-2543 that does have carts at a very reasonable rate (about $75 for the week end) I would call them in advance,as they only have a few carts. Tell them you are with the VW group.
Don't forget to tell the ferry people that you are with the VW group in order to get your discount.
As in the past, the ONLY vehicles permitted to camp on the 4H grounds will be:
1. All VW busses (including watercooled)
2. Aircooled VW vehicles
3. ALL others will need to park in the parking lot at the top of the 4H camp.
You are more than welcome to pitch your tent with the rest of the VW's on the camping field. If you still wish to camp with your car,you may want to make arrangements with the State Park just down the road.
We are looking forward to seeing all of you and enjoying a great weekend of VW comraderie.

The Trick or treat event will start at 4PM, so have all your goodies ready for the kids.
We will have kids craft items in the dining hall starting Friday afternoon.
Ray,
Plan on about 20 kids for any supplies you bring. And thanks for doing the pumpkins and goodie bags.
We are also bringing some stick on pumpkin decorating supplies so the small kids can get in on the action without knives.
