Bus is down on the ground and rolling around. Still have to tidy up some loose ends here and there but its about ready for its first real road test. Big thanks goes out to Widefive and WSD for pausing their bromance saturday and giving me a quick lesson on how to properly sync dual carbs. Looking forward to KI!

There are worse scenarios. Your bus could be at my place and I could be encouraging you to drill through the oil cooler. Or I could be telling you you've tightened the bolts too tight. Everything is relative. I think you're in good hands. Prayer is great, but its usually what I need. I think your professional approach will serve you well. Nothing against prayer, it generally works, but not so much on "fundamentalist mechanics" involving VW engines. For that you just need experience and common sense. It looks like you've acquired both!
