Randy's 1962 EZ Camper

Been looking for a unique split camper for a few years that wasn't priced thru the roof. I fell into this one about 2 months ago, while Brad's bus was in my garage being refreshed. I just didn't want to steal any of his glory or bus envy by posting it too soon.

1962 EZ Camper. I am the third owner. It spent 38 years with the first owner somewhere in CO. Second owner was in Cumberland, MD for ten years and garage kept in winter.

I just ordered the funky green panels to do rust repair and then get painted in the near future. No rust in floors, rear corners, battery trays or nose. Repairs will be in load door rockers and surrounding areas. Frame and belly pans are in excellent condition.

I intend to recover the upholstery on the inside and leave everything in same condition, which, isn't really bad.

How's that for my junk, Brad? :)

Nice camper. Wow 4 doors to worry about opening and scratching the paint when someone leaves one of the HEHR crank out windows open. Make sure you have check straps on your doors. Don't ask me how I know.

Does this mean the SC is up for grabs or is it gone already?

Hey Randy. Great bus. How about some details on the engine. Is it an original 40 horse? six volt? 1500? or other? A picture would be great. That double door is awesome!

Thanks guys. The engine is a 1500 that I had bought several years ago. It was original to a 67 Kombi that had been rebuilt. The bus was converted to 12 volt a few years back by the PO. I'll try and get some engine pictures tomorrow.
