Acadia
Acadia
Natalie and I just got back from our honeymoon, a 2000 mi round trip to Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor Maine. We took our 2003 Eurovan camper and it was the perfect vehicle for the trip. We had zero issues with the van, and couldn't have asked for better weather and travel conditions. We camped at Tolland State Forest in Massachusetts on the way there, what a beautiful park/campground. I highly recommend it if you are traveling that way. We camped in Schodack state park in NY on the way home, and it was decent. Nothing tops Acadia though! Bar Harbor as a town was a really overcrowded tourist town, but that was expected. Natalie enjoyed the seafood, and we both enjoyed the breweries, but we went for the Park, not the town. We also went on a whale watching boat tour which took us about 60 miles North into Canadian waters, but the fog was so thick we didn't see any whales. We did see a Puffin and Atlantic white sided dolphins though! Overall a great trip!

Nice. If I ever go with you, I'm going to force feed you lobster and other assorted shellfish! I've always wanted to go there. It looks awesome!
Re: Acadia
Congrats Josh and Natilie. Looks like a great trip and the best way to do it.
Re: Acadia
+1 on congratulations! Pat and I did the same trip years ago, it was great but maybe camping would have made it more fun. Today is our 30th anniversary.....
