Since my last update, I replaced one cylinder head, fixed the exhaust leaks, and the lean issue. I think I did all of that during summer 2019 ...

Re: Austin's 1977 Tintop Camper

Re: Austin's 1977 Tintop Camper
Hopefully the struggle bus and I will be at this months third Thursday. It has really been a long winter. I have been very sick, and I've spent a lot of time in the hospital.
I got to take the bus out in March, but it broke down in the middle of an intersection on the way to a doctor's appointment ...

Re: Austin's 1977 Tintop Camper
I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving and I wish you all a happy Christmas.
I've only had the bus out twice since Kelley's Island, and haven't worked on it at all. I still have a couple vacuum leaks to fix, and some oil leaks to ignore.

Re: Convoy to KI?
Where would you want to meet at?
Is there anyone else in the Akron area that wants to meet up?

Re: Austin's 1977 Tintop Camper
It was a couple of small vacuum leaks that appeared. I found them with my smoke machine. Everything is good now.
I replaced my leaky pushrod tube seal (replaced both o-rings, but it was only the case side leaking). Then oil started spraying out of the valve cover onto the f pipe creating a ton of ...

Re: Austin's 1977 Tintop Camper
I made it home safely from last night's third Thursday. The bus ran well.
Not so much this morning. I can't keep it running without holding down the gas pedal.

Sounds good to me. When do you plan on leaving?
