The state of ohio made me put lights and plates on it. So I went and bought Permanent Mi plates. I am going to fix it up but NOT a restoration!!!!

Sweet trailer Rick... is that thing get squirrelly on the road? How much does it weigh?

It weighs 220 lbs. Tracks down the road great, but if you get to swaying back and forth you can feel it start to rudder you a little. it can fit 18 milk crates in it with lid down and still have room on the back and front. With the hitch I made I can use it on anything with a 2" reciever, it even works on my Cherokee.

What make is the trailer? Seems to me that Sears used to make a similar unit back in the 60's

Yep, it is an Allstate trailer that were sold through Sears. I think that they go back to the 40s and 50s. I even got a spare tire and wheel with it.

Very Nice! I like that hitch adapter. You plan to paint it to match the DC or just use it as is?
