I do like that, but it's more than I plan on spending at the moment. I actually like the Fahrenheit orange a bit better, but again, actual mixed paint is out of my range. Trying for a stock ish color combo of orange and white, something I can spray and fix easily, because I'm ok, but not great. I've found that 2 stage paint is not my forte.
Spent the day on the roof with my dad, but I cut out the crappy gas pedal mount area, and I was able to weld in a new section. My welding sucked, you don't get to see it!
Is your welder set up for gas or flux core? Start in the places that are not seen very easily so when u get to the visible work you will be more comfortable with your machine and the materials being welded. You will have a much better product in the end..
That's why I chose this as my welding project on the bus. I'm pretty good at welding once I get into the groove, I'm just not there yet. I am using flux for right now. My cylinder is expired, having issues with my supplier getting a new tank/ certified
