2024 - Third Thursdays

Starting a new thread for 2024.

This Thursday is the first Third Thursday of 2024. This came up quickly on us.

We will be going to Basil's Grille Tavern in Elyria this month. Yes, we will reached out to confirm that they will be open. Nothing on the website or Facebook indicates otherwise. If we get word that they will not be there, we will let everyone know.

We will not be doing Third Thursday this week. Instead we will be having our Winter Social on Saturday starting at noon at Forest City Shuffleboard in Lorain Rd. Hope to see you all there.

We are going to try a new location as suggested by some of our members for the March Third Thursday.

Looks like they have some outdoor seating. We heard the food is good and reasonably priced. Bring the bus out for a short trip, get some food and get caught up on all things LEAKOIL!

Usually begin arriving at 6:00 pm.

The usual cast of suspects showed up last night, we had good fun! The place is bizarre, I can't believe the building department allows the electrical wiring to exist like that in a public building. No donkeys or livestock were to be found. My dinner was great, the drinks were wet, and we stayed later than usual.

Next Thursday April 18th we will be heading to Red Wagon Brewing. Hoping to get the bus out of the garage for this one.
