It's so cool, it still leaks oil, even though no one knows when it last ran! Awesome!

Thats what's called a Fixer-Upper. $300 well-spent, Smittie. Is this going to be Dave's bus now?

Dave "fab-master 2000" will have that thing looking like a new bus in no time! Is that a catalytic converter? Don from Canton is already drooling.

"Lockjaw" would be another good name. If they got it running and driving, it could be a sweet Beater and look great parked next to the Island Bus.

Not sure if I'm willing to call it "Daves Bus" exactly...I'll have to think on that one. He is a little rusty, and the pictures make him look worse than he is  . He's a '78...and he has a/c....well, he would...he did...um, he will....

We went to look at another bus, but ended up hearing the cries from under the tarp in the rain....and yep, we couldn't leave him there...I have pics of the other one we were looking at. Well, we can tell stories and share pix next week. Cant wait to see you all. Howie suggested we bring ole scrappie, but I dont think we'll have access to truck and trailer to make it happen....

He's a little rusty, no key, smelly, but I see potential...

Some people save forests, some save whales...I'd like to think that some of us save busses....He has a good home now, so once he's nourished and loved, he'll be irresistible. ;)

If anyone is out and about this weekend, give us a call, we'll be around, come check him out. 440-309-6606.

Is that original paint? It's only original once. I'd keep it like that. :)

The paint does appear original. Don't worry, I don't think there is any danger of me painting it anytime soon  --- unless I use POR15!

By the way, POR 15 says it can be applied directly over rust or "seasoned metal surfaces". That's how I would describe the body of this bus - "SEASONED" ;)
