Josh is too young to remember all this, but 'split' owners watched and appreciated the Flintstones as kids.
Bay and Vanagon owners watched the Jetsons!
I liked them both!

Not the Jetson's, the Robinsons from Lost in Space!
Maybe THIS is why Bay Busses are so attractive to me??? Pure functional beauty!

Wow! Can you still buy one of those? That laser cannon would be fun on camping trips!

I'm over my split phase, thinking about upgrading to a Bay.......someone trade me two for my one?
Seriously Josh; it may be old, it may be slow, it may not stop all the time, it may steer a little funny, passing cars will honk and laugh at you, but dammit!
You'll look cool!!

WELL done Josh! Good to keep Keith's bus "in the family" rather than sold on the Samba! Congratulations!

I Googled the Lost in Space vehicle- It was called the "Chariot". Based upon a 1965 SnowCat, per director Irwin Allen's instructions to build it. The Robinson family set out in it to recover Will who had jet-packed off to somewhere and they had to go find and save him. Once I saw the photo, I began recalling that episode. I used to watch Lost In Space faithfully every week. Along with Twilight Zone and Outer Limits. I was a weird kid. (Yeah I know-Not much has changed.

Guess I was wrong Keith. Glad to see both parties happy. Believe it or not but I've been debating on selling the 67.
