An update on DC: haven't had alot of time to devote, but have been getting some of new seals on truck. Had the ignition lock and door locks rekeyed with the factory key code and a couple repop keys. New mirrors put in the sideviews. Gotten most all the pieces around for the powder coater. Starting on wiring today.
I have some questions and I am looking for some of your opinions.

1. Have been looking for some cool wheels, can't find any I like. The DC has 5x112 bolt pattern. I am planning to powdercoat the stock wheels an offwhite and get "Saltflat racing disks" from Moon racing like the ones on my camper.

2.I have found a van on the Samba that is running General Grabber AT2's {27x8.5x14}. They are white letter which is a requirement of mine. I think the tires look good on it, my uncle thinks they are too aggresive looking.

Any input would be welcomed. Thanks. Rick

Moons will look great on that! As far as white letter tires, I say run what you like best. You can always flip them back to blackwall side out if you want to change.

By golly, Rick got a picture posted! Nice job, man! I'm proud of you! I spent an hour on the phone with him walking him through the process. Rick said it would have been easier to teach someone who had never flown, how to land an airplane via the radio.

BTW, Rick, you have ghosts in your garage. I see three Orbs in that photo! ;)

Bill: Aw, come on Howie, don't start with that Orbs stuff again!
