Caravelle is a Danbury model, no? Do you have a destination on your m code, or perhaps a stamp in the tin in the engine compartment.

Just some things, that may not mean anything.

- spice cabinet on rear cargo should be a rack.
- fridge configuration is the same, but hardware is different, could have been changed
- rear seat has door on the under compartment.
- rear arm rest is integrated to sidewall.
- wardrobe door is round and not square.

Cannot see the rear cargo cabinets....

Some things that look the look are the exposed fasteners on ceiling, the wood type and grain.
TEC had models that were similar. A destination code would help narrow it.

Destination code is UN. New York. I don't know where the caravelle made but it's hard to imagine the bus being shipped to New York from the factory then sent to California for an E Z camper interior then back to the east cost likely sold here locally somewhere. My understanding is that Roadrunner, Sundial, EZ, were all based in California. Is that right? Does that logic follow?

I knew I had this info somewhere,just had to find it. For '64 1 ton vehicles had 1.39 reduction boxes,while 3/4 ton vehicles got the 1.26,this was likely carried into early '65. This may explain your small nut. Yours being a panel.

Caravelle, ez, and sundial conversions were based in california. I read somewhere they also had a base in Oregon. My understanding is that Carvelle was first Of those conversions.....

Just for comparison, I found this old photo of the original interior of the Vegas Bus (Bowman &Sons). Not very good. The seat/bed cushions were originally turquoise but the PO dyed them brown.

Made more progress removing paint/primer. very happy with the amount of original paint that is coming through and with a little hand buffing it seems to shine up pretty good.

I ground some of the bondo out of the nose. If I had to guess I would say the bus probably had a run in with a deer at some point.
Anyone know what can and can't be pulled out as far as nose damage is concerned? Or is it best to just plan on replacing the nose?

How bad is your inner nose support bent and how much rot is present? My bus was the same way I started prepping to replace an man did that open up a whole new can of worms. How far do you want to go with it is the ?. I don't think that can be pulled out with the way the seems go together and the inner nose support is spot welded to lower nose skin but I could be wrong. I've got some paper pictures of what I did that may help.

Was this Steves bus? The one buried under 34 years of Vw parts and empty coffee cans lol.
