Rick's 1969 DOUBLE CAB
Re: Rick's 1969 DOUBLE CAB
NO MORE BUNGEE CORDS!!!!! Past owner had cut off the deck lid bracket for some crazy reason. I drilled spotwelds out and removed from a parts van. I rewelded the "new" bracket without burning paint outside {THANKS FOR THE ADVICE KIRK!!}.

Re: Rick's 1969 DOUBLE CAB
Figured I needed to do this while engine is out. It even works right.

Re: Rick's 1969 DOUBLE CAB
Got the "STOCK" new engine in WITH all the engine tin and new seals.

Re: Rick's 1969 DOUBLE CAB
Have to put hitch on and finish exhaust. Then need to test drive and change oil.

Yes its a trailer plug in. It is a dummy for now. Dealer installed item, they punched the hole. My 4 wire plug I just pull through top of gate and close it and let it hang when I have trailer and tuck it back in when done.

Rick, you might want to stitch weld the top and bottom edges about 1" long to make sure it holds.

Too late now!!! I wish you would have told me that Sunday morn. I'll have to do it when I switch engines back. If it don't break off first!!!! I think I got some good penetration on the spotwelds.
Re: Rick's 1969 DOUBLE CAB
New addition!!!! Truck too nice to put swap meet junk in, so now I've got a swap meet hauler.

Re: Rick's 1969 DOUBLE CAB
Built a hitch so I wouldn't have to butcher my rear bumper.
