Rick's 1969 DOUBLE CAB
Re: Rick's 1969 DOUBLE CAB
I drove 250 miles with this and it worked great.

Re: Rick's 1969 DOUBLE CAB
The state of ohio made me put lights and plates on it. So I went and bought Permanent Mi plates. I am going to fix it up but NOT a restoration!!!!

I don't know? They load right up when I opened it up?
Re: Rick's 1969 DOUBLE CAB
Sweet trailer Rick... is that thing get squirrelly on the road? How much does it weigh?
Re: Rick's 1969 DOUBLE CAB
It weighs 220 lbs. Tracks down the road great, but if you get to swaying back and forth you can feel it start to rudder you a little. it can fit 18 milk crates in it with lid down and still have room on the back and front. With the hitch I made I can use it on anything with a 2" reciever, it even works on my Cherokee.

Rick,
What make is the trailer? Seems to me that Sears used to make a similar unit back in the 60's

Yep, it is an Allstate trailer that were sold through Sears. I think that they go back to the 40s and 50s. I even got a spare tire and wheel with it.

Very Nice! I like that hitch adapter. You plan to paint it to match the DC or just use it as is?
