With my wipers, I degreased and re-greased everything that I could find while the unit was still installed. Next, someone tried using oversized brass washers to help snug the arms down onto the shaft. And after that, someone suggested testing the voltage to see if the wiper motor is getting enough current. In the meantime I keep plenty of Rain-X applied to my windshield.
