Front floor and doglegs for sure, because it's very hard to get in the driver seat when I have to step in all the way to the gas pedal, pass has no floor at all, and dog legs to support the new floor.
That being said, I'm going to grab some cadillac parts at work and try to patch it enough to use for now.

It's too bad you couldn't make it to the Columbus show. There was a bunch of early bay sheet metal

If you see stuff for Jason and it is reasonable and what he needs, get it for him. He is an honest guy that will not screw you around.Mike Kever Kombi wrote:It's too bad you couldn't make it to the Columbus show. There was a bunch of early bay sheet metal

That's cool. Jason, my number is in my profile. If you want to shoot me a text with your number, I have no problem grabbing stuff you need, and finding a way to get it to you.toolbox wrote:If you see stuff for Jason and it is reasonable and what he needs, get it for him. Is stuff a bit less rusty out there though?
I got lucky, I thought the whole cargo floor was GONE, and I assumed there was just plywood down, BUT, while I was under there doing the fuel line I picked at the droopy "floors" and found it was just roof tar (with fiber and everything) that was no longer adhering to the bottom of the floor. It was nice and baby blue under the 1/4" of tar, at least in the 2 spots I peeled off!
I also determined that I have NO heat provisions on this bus. I don't really know how it functions, but there is no tubing going to the heater tube, and I'm not seeing anything by the exhaust, just headers. there is no tins underneath, but again, I'm not familiar enough to know if I have whats supposed to be there, I'll grab some pics soon as it's sitting in a few inches of water at the moment.

The latitude out here is essentially the same, with just a few minutes difference between my apartment and my parents' house in Ohio with the vineyard. Due to that the rust is on par with MI/OH.
I did get a few recent hits on thesamba for my early bay parts wanted ad, so let me know what you're looking for and I can add it in with the list I will give these folks.
