2023 - Tune Up Day May 6th

This year's TUD is Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Bruce's place, same as previous years. We'll have hot dogs and some munchies, bring your own small parts for installation. Normal maintenance and inspections will be done by those who know how for those who don't. We'll show up 9-930, things will start about 10ish. Tools, lift and some parts will be available.

The best address to use for GPS is 16 Greenfield Court, Berea, Ohio 44017 at the south end of Berea near the turnpike overpass and turnpike building right off Prospect. (Technically the address is on Prospect but that will confuse you if you haven't been there before) The address brings you to the wooden fence and gate, turn into the gate and park anywhere. Bruce will be there by 9am, most people arrive about 10ish. It usually breaks up in the mid-afternoon.

Get your bus rolling early. Work out the kinks to get it ready for the season. Even if you don't have any projects to work on, come on out and see what others are doing to their buses. Maybe learn a trick or two or share your knowledge with those of us who need some coaching.

Chuck is over tonight discussing tune up day. You know how Chuck likes a good dog. I was thinking about picking up some vegan, gluten free, tofu hot dogs for Chuck, but I know how that would turn out.

I told Chuck I was at "high price" Heinen's and saw a pack of hot dogs that are $15.99 (for 6 or 8) in a pack. Yikes!

He was skeptical on the quality to price, but I'm going all in and bringing a pack. Get in line if you want one (after Brandon ) while they last.

Chuck did add that he expects the following:

A crockpot with quality hot dog (chili) sauce. (He didn't name anyone.)
White onions - not food processed (Chuck said tell Jackie - Jackie take note)
Shredded sharp cheddar (Pam take note - per Chuck)
He said he doesn't care about the buns, so will someone please bring a few gluten free ones so I can laugh!
